Afforci is celebrating its one year reimagined anniversary by reporting about a reality star who made history.  She not only made history, but she used her platform to open doors for others and create a successful life.  You can typically find her smiling in images and videos on social media.  She has demonstrated that she can remain poised and focused even during a tough personal time in her life.  Without further ado, Afforci is writing about Rachel Lindsay from Bachelorette and Bachelor with Nick Viall.

First, the image that may come to surface when one thinks of Rachel Lindsay, is her dancing in the streets of New Orleans with Nick Viall while she was on Bachelor Season 21.  She finished in third place.

During Rachel’s season of the Bachelorette, where she became the first African American Bachelorette, and the first featured African American for any Bachelor Nation show televised.  Rachel is a trailblazer in reality tv.  

Rachel is also an attorney, and as such, most attorneys are capable of carrying and or leading an argument.  She was able to capitalize on her thoughts of the lack of diversity in Bachelor Nation.  Would you agree that in most circumstances, when tradition is challenged, there may be someone who doesn’t want change to happen?  If there is someone who doesn’t want change to happen, then sadly animosity versus amiable feelings can develop.  It really depends on the individual.  Bachelor Nation did change, and Rachel was part of that change.  

In addition, during Bachelorette Season 13 in 2017, she was a 32 year practicing law in Dallas, Texas.  She married Bryan Abasolo in 2019, a 37 year old chiropractor from Miami, Florida, after giving him her final rose.  She also had chemistry with Peter Kraus, who was the runner up, however, he finished in second place, even though he made the decision not to move forward.  We all have to make decisions in life, and sometimes these decisions will not be understood by others, and Peter’s decision created controversy.  The good news is that seven years later, Peter is doing well with his fitness business.

Sadly, after watching Bryan carry such a supportive role towards Rachel during some her tough spotlight times, especially during the Chris Harrison encounter, their marriage has ended, after Bryan filed for divorce around January 2024.  There has been a lot of media attention to this divorce, including not so kind words about Bryan, and his motive, especially with asking for $16,275 per month in spousal support.  

The media has also brought attention to a scandal that involved Bryan years ago regarding alleged unsavory business decisions regarding insurance.  When these matters are brought to an audience attention, always remember there are two sides to every story.  We would want to hear Bryan’s side.

If you review the details that is shared about these two, you will find the beauty in Rachel.  Even as an attorney, she was mostly likely focused on her love with Bryan, and opted not to require a prenuptial agreement.  This is proof of trusting someone.  

Rachel, has done well for herself, and her net worth is estimated as three million dollars.  We hope that Rachel celebrates her accomplishments including: Bachelorette star; Bachelor contestant; Extra correspondent; Ghosted (MTV); podcaster; owner of an indoor football team; many sponsors; and of course, she is an attorney.  We also hope that Rachel always remembers that the sun will continue to shine whether you are married or single.

There are a few people in this world in which we connect and have chemistry, let’s celebrate our time with them, even when things end.  Let’s wish Rachel and Bryan the very best as they celebrate their time together, and create new memories apart.
