Bachelor Season 18 News Update

Bachelor Season 18 starred Juan Pablo Galavis.  Let's catch up on his contestants, and his life.

Juan Pablo.

Juan Pablo, a 31 year old pro soccer player from Barquisimeto, Venezuelan, while on Bachelorette Season 9 with Desiree Hartsock in 2013.  He was eliminated during week 6.

Juan Pablo went on to become the Bachelor during Season 18 in 2014.  He selected Nikki Ferrell as his final rose recipient, and they gave love a try.  

Ten years later, Juan will turn 41 in August 2024.  Juan was actually born in Ithaca, New York.  His famous words used frequently on Bachelor - “it’s okay”.   You don’t want to stay, “it’s okay”; you don’t want to be with me, “it’s okay”.  What a way to minimize stress in life, accepting that others have to make their own decisions.

Juan has a daughter, and appears to still be single.  However, he did get married in 2017 to a model and tv host, and they connected as one for two years.  On the contrary, his daughter, who was born in 2009, competed on American Idol Season 22.​
