Ron spent 10 years in the investment field, and was an options trader for Charles Schwab prior to opening his barbershop that was set up like a spa for men.  It is reported that Sole Patch Barbershop at Northwood Shopping Center closed the doors to its only location in Prairie Village, Kansas in 2021.  His LinkedIn shows that he is law school at Washburn University.​
