Bachelorette Season 8 News Update

Michael Nance.

Michael Nance, a 26 year old rehab counselor from Austin Texas, when he was on Season 8 of Bachelorette with Emily Maynard in 2012.  He was eliminated in 12th place.  

Sadly Michael is no longer with us, as he passed away in 2017, at the age of 31, after ingesting  cocaine, heroin, Clonazepam and Gabapentin shortly before his death.  It was tagged as an accidental death, and it was noted that Nance had a history of opiate abuse and anxiety.  #RIP​

Doug has kept a low-profile.  It was once reported that he was a single dad.  Let’s wish Doug the best in maintaining those qualities that allowed him to make a great first impression, and hopefully, surrounding himself by the people who allow him to display those attributes consistently.
