Big Brother Season 16

Big Brother 16 was needed to get the competition aspects of Big Brother back, and less on the social destruction of Season 16.  This was a great season to watch and led by the winner who was consistent throughout his game play.  Let's discover these 16 houseguests.

Derrick Levasseur.

Derrick is the winner of Big Brother 16.  He was a 30 year old Police Sergeant from Providence, Rhode Island in 2014 during the filming of Big Brother.  He won $500,000 for first place, and $75,000 for completing tasks as assigned by online voters, as part of Team America.

Derrick is married since 2011, and he has two children.

Cody Calafiore.

Cody Calafiore was a 23 year old Sales Account Executive from Howell, New Jersey in 2014 when he played @BigBrothercbs.  Cody finished as the runner up.  However, Cody did go on to win 1st place of Big Brother during Season 22.

Today Cody is married to Cristie LaRatta (since Spring 2023), and they have been together for approximately 8 years.  He is the cohost of Podcast Winners Circle Cast.  He also appeared on Traitors on Peacock.

Joanna "Joey" Van Pelt.

Joey entered the house as a 27 year old Make-up artist from Seattle Washington.  She was evicted on Day 14.  ​Today Joey still does makeup in Washington. Her instagram handle is @joeysdoingyourmakup.

Paola Shea.  ​

She was a DJ from Astoria, New York.  She was at the fun age of 27.  Paola was evicted on Day 21.  ​It was last reported that she is still a DJ in #NewYork. She got married in 2021, and she recently had a daughter in 2022.

Devin Shepherd.

He was a Motorcycle Sales Manager from San Antonio, Texas.  He entered the house when he was 26.  He was evicted on Day 28.  He was a former professional baseball player who played for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Brittany Martinez.

She was a 29 year old Event Coordinator from Torrance, California.  Brittany exited to Julie's couch on Day 35.  Brittany appears to have a lot of fun living life based upon posted pictures on social media.

Amber Borzotra.

At 26, Amber was an Esthetician from North Hollywood, California.  She met Julie's couch on Day 42.  She also competed on MTV's The Challenge Season 37.  At one time, she was dating Jeremiah White.  

She announced that she celebrated one year anniversary in her relationship with Chauncey Palmer.  He is a Certified Transformation Speciality.  He displays The Challenge Season 38 on his Instagram page.  She announced in January 2023 that she is pregnant, and now Chauncey and Amber have a daughter.  Amber was born in Germany, and she resides in Los Angeles, California.

Jocasta Odom.

Jocasta was a 33 Minister from Lovejoy, Georgia.  She was evicted on Day 49.  She has a MBA from Valdosta State University, and experience as a Lead Research Specialist at Emory University. 

She has two sons, and is aka Mama J.  In addition, Jocasta wrote a book, which can be found below.

Hayden Voss.

Hayden was a 21 year old Pedicab Driver from Long Beach, California.  He was also evicted on Day 49 on Season 16.  Can you say double eviction?

Hayden had a two year relationship with Nicole Franzel from this season.  A brief perusal of Hayden's Instagram page, shows that he is still having fun.

Zach Rance.

He was 23 years old and unemployed.  Zach is from Palm Beach, Florida.  He lasted two months, and was evicted on Day 63 on Season 16.

Zach was fond of Frankie Grande, singer Ariana Grande's brother, and Zach later came out as bi-sexual.  Zach can be found on Instagram and lists their occupation as Personal Growth Coach.

Donny Thompson.

Donny was a 42 year old Groundskeeper from Albermarle, North Carolina.  He was evicted on Day 70.

It was last reported that he worked in maintenance for a Community College in North Carolina.

Nicole Franzel.

She was a 21 year old Nursing graduate from Ubly, Michigan.  She was evicted twice.  The first eviction was on Day 56 and she won the challenge to re-enter the house, however, she was evicted again on Day 77 .

She has a child with Victor Arroyo.  They've been together since 2021.

Christine Brecht.

She was a 23 year old Barista from Tucson, Arizona.  She was evicted on Day 77, as part of another double eviction.

Frankie Grande.

Frankie, is Ariana Grande's brother.  He was a 31 year old YouTube Personality from New York, New York, when he entered the house.  He met Julie on her couch on Day 88.

Caleb Reynolds.

Caleb Reynolds was on @BigBrothercbs 16. He was a 26 year old Adventure hunting guide from Hopkinsville, Kentucky when he entered the Big Brother home to play in 2014. He is an Army Veteran.

Caleb is married with two children. He is an entrepreneur. In addition to Big Brother, he was also a contestant on Survivor, Season 32.

Victoria Rafaeli.

Victoria Rafaeli Atash @victoriarpro was a contestant on @BigBrothercbs 16. When she entered the home in 2014, she was a 22 year old #photographer from Weston, Florida. She lasted very long in the game, and ended in 3rd place.  She made it to the 3rd position, simply by maintaining a low profile.  
  She exited the same day as the two winners, which is Day 97.

Victoria is currently married, and she recently had a child, in late 2022. Today she is a Blogger/Content Creator.
